PhD Students Events

Every year, the ED MSTII organizes its half-day of entry for doctoral students who start their thesis.
On this occasion, the ED presents its functioning as well as the team.
This event is particularly for you and your presence is highly recommended.

Program of December 12, 2024:
On December 11, 2025, the College and the UGA Doctoral Schools are organizing a welcome day for all new PhD Students at the Maison du doctorat Jean Kuntzmann (110 rue de la Chimie 38400 Saint-Martin-d'Hères)

Start of the year in your Doctoral School, discover all the services of the Doctoral College and, more broadly, the University and its partners through a great game in the form of a journey to the heart of the PhD at the UGA 

> To know everything and to register (mandatory registration before December 2nd, 2025)

The event takes place during the day, but over half a day for each Doctoral School. Depending on your doctoral school, you will be asked to attend at different times.

Program of December 12, 2025:
8:00 / 8:30  am - Welcome and constitution of the groups
8:30 /10:15 am - Start of the Doctoral School in amphi on the 1st floor

                      >> Meet the Doctoral School referent for your scientific field

10:15 / 12:00 am - Enigma tour in the service poles
12:00 / 1:00 pm - Lunch offered 
5:30 pm - Afterwork at EVE

The day will be followed by an integration evening at EVE! On the programme:

5.30pm – 7.30pm: Fun activities to meet all the PhD students

Dinner will be offered to you.

8pm – 11pm: Karaoke evening hosted by Micro de la Love
